Extension of uses of T34 Biocontrol® in UK.
The HSE have granted new (off-label) authorizations that allows the British growers to use the product in a wide range of protected crops.
The product T34 Biocontrol®, a highly effective biological fungicide based on Trichoderma asperellum strain T34, was authorized last January by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in UK for protected tomato, pepper, chilli and aubergine with the MAPP Number 17290, which expanded the authorization for protected ornamentals and forest nursery obtained in 2012.
In 8th July 2016 the HSE has approved the extension of the authorized use of T34 Biocontrol® on the crops below:
- Cucurbits (courgette, summer and winter squash, cucumber, gherkin, melon and pumpkin).
- Strawberry, cane fruit (blackberry, loganberry, rubus hybrid and raspberry) and bush/small fruit (bilberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, blueberry, cranberry, elderberry, gooseberry, mulberry and rose hips).
- Brassicas in propagation (broccoli / calabrese, Brussels sprout, cabbage, cauliflower, choi, sum, collard, kale, kohlrabi, oriental cabbage), leafy vegetables and fresh herbs (angelica, baby leaf crops, balm, basil, bay, caraway leaves, celery leaves, chervil, chicory (witloof), chives, coriander leaves, cress, dill leaves, edible flowers, endive, fennel leaves, herbs (others), hysoop, lamb’s lettuce, land cress, lettuce, lovage leaves, marjoram, mint, oregano, parsley, purslane, red mustar, rocket, rosemary, sage, salad burnet, savory, spinach, spinach beet, sweet cicely, tarragon, thyme and watercress).
