The strain T34 has been included in the Annex IV of the Regulation 396/2005, through the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/896. since it does not produce residues or toxins

The European Food Safety authority (EFSA) has concluded that several strains of Trichoderma spp., including the active substanceTrichoderma asperellum strain T34 used as plant protection product, “are not pathogenic to humans and are not expected to produce toxins that are relevant for human health”.
From this conclusion, the European Commission considered to include those active substances in the Annex IV of the Regulation (EC) 396/2005, since they do not produce residues.
